Mrs. Charles Wylie, who with her husband and family had resided on Fern Prairie a matter of seven years, passed from this life on Thursday 1st.  Her remains were interred in the Fern Prairie cemetery Sunday, July 29, B. H. Elsey, of the Camas Baptist church officiating.

Rosetta Foster was born in Nodaway county, Missouri, January 14, 1959 departed this life Thursday morning, July 27th, 1923, age 64 years, 6 months and 13 days.  She moved with her parents to Nebraska, thence to Fremont county, Iowa, where she was united in marriage to Charles Wylie, August 9, 1885, and they spent most of their lives on the farm.

Four children were born to this union: Mary, Mable, David and Edward.  About seven years ago she came to this state with her husband and they bought the Armstrong homestead, seven miles northeast of Camas, where she resided until her death.

Mrs. Wylie is survived by her husband, Charles Wylie, four children, Mary E. Maxwell of Iowa, now on her way to this place; Mable E. Maxwell of this place, David Ephram Wylie and Charles Edward Wylie, who live with their parents.  Eleven grandchildren, two half sisters and one half brother are left.

A brother and half sister had gone on before to await her coming.  She has been of the Baptist faith since childhood and was a devoted companion and loving mother, kind, patient and industrious, and her loss will be mourned by all who knew her.
