Clara Bergman

A Washougal resident, Clara Rose Bergman, 70, died Friday, May 4, in a Vancouver hospital.

Born in Boyd, Ore., Nov. 16, 1902, she had lived in the local area for 32 years.  She was a member of the Christian church in Dufur, Ore., and the Royal Neighbors of Camas.

Services were held Monday, May 7, at Brown’s Stoller Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Burton Schroeder officiating.  Interment was in Fern Prairie Cemetery.

Survivors are two sons, Thomas A. Graham of Stevenson, Wash., and Robert L. Graham of Seattle; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Dixon, Portland, and Mrs. Etta May Brown of san Bernardino, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Henry Hanna in California, and Paul and Ted Hanna of Klamath Falls, Ore.; and four sisters, Mrs. Reatha Bewley, Grants Pass, Ore., Mrs. Mary Pierce and Mrs. Nellie Houton, both of Paris, Texas, and Mrs. Edna Serkoff, Bay View, Idaho.
