She and her husband, Jeff Richards, moved to Yakima and raised sheep. Later, they moved to Neah Bay, Wash., where they operated a commercial fishing boat. Mr. Richards died in 1960 of

Daisy L. Richards (Capehart) –83

Former Camas-Washougal area resident Daisy L. Richards (Capehart) died Feb. 26, 1987, in Port Townsend nursing home.  She was 83.

Mrs. Richards had lived in the community 40 years and had worked for Crown Zellerbach Corp.  She was born April 7, 1903, in Olles, Alberta, Canada.

She and her husband, Jeff Richards, moved to Yakima and raised sheep.  Later, they moved to Neah Bay, Wash., where they operated a commercial fishing boat.  Mr. Richards died in 1960 of cancer.

She remarried retired TV repairman Carl Capehart in 1963 and the couple lived in Hadlock, Wash.  He died in 1986.  Their cremated remains were placed in the Fern Prairie Cemetery.

She is survived by her sister, Ruby Halsey of Los Angeles, and two stepsons in California and Oregon.
