Sheldon Coburn

Sheldon R. “Pat” Coburn, a Crown Zellerbach paper mill oiler, died Friday in a Vancouver hospital.  He was 55.

Born June 19, 1918, in Little Falls, Minn., he lived in Camas and Vancouver 29 years.  His last residence was at 21715 NE 28th St., Camas.

He was a member of Local 5 of the Association of Western Pulp and Paper Workers, Camas.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie, at home; four sons, Robert P. Herford of Cannon Beach, Ore., and Michael, Ronald and James Coburn, all of Camas; four daughters, Mrs. Peggy McClellan of Washougal, Mrs. Patricia Stevens of Vancouver and Mrs. Judith Peters and Deborah Coburn, both of Camas; three brothers, Cecil and Ernest, both of Camas, and Chester of Portland, and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral is to be at 1 p.m. Monday at Brown’s Stoller Memorial Chapel, Camas, with the Rev. Charles McGee officiating.  Burial is to follow at Fern Prairie Cemetery.
