 Arloene Eby

Arloene M. Eby, a resident of this area since 1936, died Wednesday in Vancouver.  She was 65.

She was born Jan. 28, 1919, in Peck, Idaho.  Mrs. Eby was retired from Camas’ Crown Zellerbach plant, where she worked in the bag factory and converting plant for 27 years.  Mrs. Eby attended the first Christian Church of Camas.

In her spare time, Mrs. Eby was an avid outdoorswoman who enjoyed fishing, clam digging and hunting.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Brown’s Stoller Memorial Chapel.  The Rev. James Altfilish will officiate.

Burial will follow in Fern Prairie Cemetery.

Mrs. Eby is survived by her widower, Jack, at home; her son, Melvin, of Cairo, Egypt; three brothers, Mervil Fine and Deryl Fine of Orofino, Idaho, and Donald Fine of Kamiah, Idaho; two sisters, Tillie Smith of Clarkston, Wash., and Eloise Ball of Newport, Wash.; and five grandchildren.
