Laura E.
Everett-Berry
She was born July 1909 in Lyons, Neb., where she completed her schooling. She moved to the Camas-Washougal area in 1937, where she lived until moving to Long Beach, Calif., when she bought the Motel El Sereno in 1948. She later moved back to Camas where she lived until moving to Troutdale in 2004. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and enjoyed dancing, playing cards, traveling and visiting with family and friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Darlene Ellis of Troutdale; and two granddaughters, four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be private at the Fern Prairie Cemetery. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.
