 Clarence \"Tom\" T. Fair

CAMAS—A retired pipe fitter for Crown Zellerbach at the paper mill, Clarence “Tom” T. Fair, 81, died in Vancouver Friday, April 12, 1996.  He was 81.

Mr. Fair was born Oct. 31, 1914, in Sedalia, MO., and had lived in Camas since 1946.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Camas and a former member of the Pulp and Paperworkers Union, Local 15 (5), of Camas.  His first wife, Mildred, died in 1986.

He is survived by his wife, Grace, at home; a stepdaughter, Barbara N. Jones of Vancouver; two sons, Larry of Tumwater, Wash., and Donald of Washougal; one brother, John of Florissant, Mo.; one sister, Marianna Heineman of Sedalia, Mo.; four grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.

A service will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Camas, with burial in Fern Prairie Cemetery.  Brown’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
