William “Bill” Graham

 A funeral will be held Wednesday for William “Bill” Graham, 66, of Camas.  He died April 18, 1993.

 Graham was born May 28, 1926, in Thayer, Iowa, and was raised and attended school in Iowa.  He later served in the U.S. Army during World War II.  In 1948 he married his wife, Mary Lou, in Burlington, Iowa.  Also in 1948, Graham began working for Crown Zellerbach in Camas.  He worked for the mill for 38 years as an operator in sulfite department until retiring in 1986.

 In addition, Graham was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4278 and Local 5 of AWWPW.  He also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, fishing, clamming at the beach and watching sports on television.

 He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Graham at home in Camas; daughters, Vicki Baldwin of Camas and Sharon Martell of Washougal; grandsons, Clint, Jay and Chris Martell of Washougal; brothers, Paul Graham of Blockton, Iowa, and Raymond Graham of The Dalles, Ore.; and cousin, Georgia Smith of Prescott, Iowa.

 His funeral will be held at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas, beginning at 11 a.m.  The casket will be open today until 8 p.m. at Straub’s Funeral Home.  Burial will follow the funeral on Wednesday at Fern Prairie Cemetery.
