ObituaryVicki Vail Greene, 56, a beloved
daughter, sister, and aunt who was dedicated to her family throughout her life,
died unexpectedly May 30, 2009. She was 56.
She was born
Dec. 1, 1952, in Salem, Ore., the oldest of three children to Gary
and Joyce Greene. She graduated from McNary High School in 1970, and then attended Oregon State University.
Vicki worked
in advertising while living in Portland, and
relocated to Vancouver in 1989.
She had a
wonderful sense of humor and a joy for living that permeated everything she
did. A gifted writer, Vicki touched many
lives with her numerous cards and letters. She was kind and generous.
She is
survived by her father, Gary Greene of Skamania; sister, Pamela Wilson of
Camas; brother, Randall Greene of Seattle;
brother-in-law, Dale Wilson of Camas; and two nieces and a nephew.
A celebration
of life service was held June 8, 2009. Burial was at the Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas.
Brown’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas is in charge of
arrangements.
