Obituary
Bert A. Atkins
Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon at Swank Memorial chapel for Bert A. Atkins, 80, a former resident of Camas and Fern Prairie, who died July 9 at Bridal Veil, Ore. Interment followed in Fern Prairie cemetery.
Born Jan. 27, 1877, in Wisconsin, Mr. Atkins was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Survivors include five sons, John W. Atkins, Coos Bay, Ore., Arthur A. Atkins, Kennewick, Wash., Luther B. Atkins, Warrenton, Ore., Vernon E. Atkins, Caldwell, Ida., and Francis L. Atkins, Grandview, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Kays, Battle Ground and Mrs. Bina Warren, Forest Grove, Ore., 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
