Edith K. Webberley

A funeral will be held Wednesday for Edith Kathleen Webberley, 85, a longtime Camas resident.  She died April 2, 1994, in Camas.

Webberley was born Feb. 19, 1909, in Battle View, N.D., and moved to Camas in 1926.  After marrying her husband, Edgar, they operated a sawmill.  Later they operated a dairy farm.  Eventually, they began operating Christmas tree farms.

In other activities, Webberley was a Member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She was also active on the Clark County Elections Board.

She is survived by her son, Duane E. Webberley of Trout Lake, Wash.; daughters, Lorraine E. Bush of Camas and Joy C. Bilyeu of Pahoa, Hawaii; brother, Robert Wenholz of Palo Verde, Calif.; sister, Argene Stansbury of Vancouver; special niece, Barbara L. Woodman of Vancouver; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Church in Camas, beginning at 11 a.m., Wednesday.  The casket will be open at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas until 8 p.m., Tuesday.  Brown’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Campership Trust Fund, 26003 N. E. Third St., Camas, WA 98607.  Brown’s Stoller Memorial Chapel cared for arrangements.
